I always had a thing for the late, great Jerry Goldsmith’s soundtrack for Air Force One. The track End Credits is very presidential, if US Presidents were in the day-to-day business of defeating terrorists in hand-to-hand combat.

While we’re in airplanes, let’s go back to my childhood when I felt the need for speed in an F-14. I would hum the Top Gun Anthem for days while playing beach volleyball by myself in a completely non-homoerotic way. It was composed by 80s staple Harold Faltermeyer. Whenever the hell happened to that guy anyway?

Let’s finish things off with another airborne movie. Don’t hate on me for bringing up Pearl Harbor but I’m like one of the five people who love this movie. The score by Hans Zimmer is just utterly perfect. This is one of the more hardcore tracks War. Stay tuned next week to see the equally awesome love theme from that movie.
